 Picking your degree is a big deal. It might seem easier in the starting point but you come across many unexpected turns once you pass your college. Even if you know which subject you want to study or which university you want to go, it can take alot of time to research to find the exact programme that fits according to your interests.

Most of the time we prefer the subjects linked to our previous subjects but I think it's not an appropriate way to choose your degree. Instead you should focus on degrees that provide stable employment and competitive pay. Degrees that are in demand nowadays. And secondly the most important factor is your own "interest". You should always look forward to subjects that you find interesting. 

Once you choose your degree that fits perfectly according to your requirements, you'll be provided with best opportunities.
